Journeyman Painter

A Journeyman Painter specializes in painting walls and other surfaces according to project needs. Aside from applying paint, a journeyman painter is also responsible for cleaning the substrate to prepare for painting, staining and coating procedures. Identify client preferences, select equipment, and technique, and apply other finishes. Time management. Ability to read blueprints and follow directions. Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding and at heights. Ability to lift 50 to 75 lbs repeatedly. Willingness to learn new technics. Align with company goals and core values. They must also monitor their supplies and maintain the cleanliness of their work areas. Moreover, a Journeyman Painter typically works in a team setting, which requires an active communication line for a smooth and efficient workflow. This position will offer personal, professional and financial growth opportunities. Pay is based on experience and skills. Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.

Apprentice Painter/General Laborer

An Apprentice Painter/ General laborer Duties are as follows: Learn Painting technics and perform tasks under the supervision of an experienced painter. These responsibilities involve surface prep such as pressure washing, sanding or stripping old loose coatings off. Area prep such as masking, laying drop clothes down, protecting areas from receiving coatings. Staging projects with ladders and scaffolding. Apply coatings, caulking and other related products. Perform touch ups and finishing work. Maintain clean work areas. Ability to lift 50 to 75 lbs repeatedly. Ability to work on ladders and at heights. Willingness to learn and align with company goals and core values. On the job training and some computer-based training for this position. Individuals will have many growth opportunities once they become proficient in the skills required. Growth opportunities will include personal, professional and financial. Pay based on experience and skills. Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
